Blue & white are very popular colors this year, particularly in our local area, and we've already had several requests for that combo! I still have a couple weddings from last week to show, so here we go...
Here's the bridal bouquet...
White tulips, blue freesia & white wax all wrapped up in a white satin ribbon. You do have to watch tulips in warmer weather-- they're beautiful, but blow open so quickly!
The bridesmaids clutched smaller versions...
Since this wedding was being held in the theatre of the Oklahoma Art Museum (OKC), our bride was looking for something to touch up the metal railings down the aisle. We decided to go with blue delphinium, white tulips, freesia & wax and the black ribbon with silver polka dots was perfect for the sense of festivity they were looking for.
A century of quality.....

Wedding 1: So bright you need shades...
March 15, 2010
You can tell spring is closing in, because we've got weddings in full swing! We've had three this week, so let's take a look at this pretty & later I'll show off our two blue & white weddings.
Ooo....aaaah....
Made of golden callas, purple freesia, blue statice, orange gerberas & alstro, yellow button mums & hot pink spray roses...
...and topped off with a black & white corset tie.
And of course the bridesmaids, smaller versions of the brides...
And just the tiniest bit of pittosporum (the greenery you see) to finish off the edging. Gorgeous!

Spring!
March 1, 2010
Can you smell it? Springtime? It's almost here! We've made it to March! I'm hoping to kiss those 30-degree days goodbye soon, although it was nice to all that gorgeous snowfall.
We're got some weddings later this week that I hope to post on. Until then, I'll leave you with pretty springtime flowers to brighten your day....
