Blog Feature: Our Favorite Weddings

July 8th, 2010

Since we just had the 4th, I thought we'd feature a wedding we completed for a dear friend a few years ago around this time. The color of this orange & yellow extravaganza gave the fireworks a run for their money!

Let's start with the ceremony:

Jill & Paul wanted something simple and fun for their altar, so Pam went with orange & yellow lilies & yellow buttons & spiders (the green hypericum just tucked in so pretty for more texture). Those gorgeous fan palms on the sides added that touch of spice and curly willow connected the two across the top.

The reception centerpieces:

Jill told Pam to just do something fun and different for the reception, so Pam pulled in fruit. It's a huge style right now in a lot of weddings, and hasn't hit here locally yet, so we had fun getting to play.

And of course the bridal bouquet:

Orange lilies, alstromeria, hypericum and yellow freesia clustered together for Jill's day. And the fragrance from the freesia and lilies was lovely! A perfect pop of color for a beautiful warm summer evening.

And we'll finish with these freesia corsages and boutonnieres that topped off the day:
